Nokia X2 vs. Nokia Lumia 630: Specs of the Nokia X2, an Android-based Nokia handset that was initiated under the auspices of its new owner, Microsoft, is compared in this comparison review against the Nokia Lumia 630. Microsoft Mobile’s Nokia X2 runs on a highly-customized version of the Android platform. The Lumia 630, on the other hand, is loyal to the Windows Phone platform. Under the hood, the Nokia X2 has a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 Cortex-A7 processor. The Nokia Lumia 630 has a more superior quad-core ARM Cortex A-7 processor. The Android-based X2 possesses 1GB of RAM while the Lumia 630 has 512MB of RAM.

Build

Screen-wise, the Nokia X2 has a 4.3-inch IPS LCD display and a screen res of 480 x 800 pixels. The Nokia Lumia 630 has a relatively bigger 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 480 x 854 pixels screen resolution.

The body of the Nokia Lumia 630 is encased in a plastic exterior with bold colors, very much similar to the physical feature of other Lumia handsets. This smartphone also has a highlighter-style shade on the body and its true colors continue to the phone’s buttons as well. Trusted Reviews note that it has a “neat and refined look.”

The Nokia X2 has a slightly improved display with the introduction of Nokia’s ClearBlack polarization technology. Anand Tech describes what this technology is all about below:

Nokia X2 is 0.44-inch thick and 150 grams heavy, while the Lumia 630 is 0.36-inch thick and 143 grams heavy.

Camera

Snappers of Nokia Lumia have always been highly regarded, but the snappers of both these devices is nothing to write home about. Both the X2 and Lumia 630 has a 5MP rear-facing camera with the X2 having a VGA snapper with LED flash. The Nokia Lumia 630 has no front-facing shooter.

Memory

In terms of internal storage, the Nokia X2 starts with 4GB of internal storage but with MicroSD support can accommodate up to 32GB. The Nokia Lumia 630 has 8GB of internal storage with Micro SD support that can support up to 128GB in storage.

Battery Life

Power packs of the devices only varies very slightly, the Nokia X2 has an 1800mAh battery unit while the Nokia Lumia 630 has a 1830mAh battery pack.
