2NE1's Minzy and WINNER's Mino will have their first unofficial collaboration together—as Gundam designers!

Recently, various online portals are reporting that Minzy and Mino will have displays at the 2014 Gunpla Expo, the largest Gundam model kit exhibition that also travels the world.

"It's not stated whether Mino and Minzy designed it together or each one designed their own," tweeted Susifg on Twitter.

For Minzy, this is not the first time the 2NE1 singer/rapper has been featured at the Gunpla Expo.

In 2012, an originally colored Gundam (see photo above) by the K-pop idol was displayed at the Expo in Japan, which also served as Minzy's first solo event in the country. Her enthusiasm for Gundam collection was also featured on "2NE1 TV" during its third season.

When asked whether she still collected Gundam figures during a recently "Ask in a Box" interview, Minzy responded, "I collect RC cars now. I donated [the Gundam figures] to the people who really like Gundam figures but can't afford them."

Like Minzy, Mino is known to be an avid artist. However, this is the first time certain fans are hearing about their shared interest in Gundam.

"Put Mino and Minzy in one album," wrote Asmahan on Twitter. "He could rap, she could sing and both can dance. They can also design their own album cover."

On November 6, it was confirmed that Mino will be performing as part of WINNER at the 2014 MelOn Awards alongside labelmate Taeyang of Big Bang. 2NE1, meanwhile, recently performed at the Alexander Wang X H&M launch party. However, the girl group will abstain from all year-end award ceremonies.

"Though they've received a number of offers for music award ceremonies, we respectfully declined," said a YG rep according to allkpop. "Park Bom is still reflecting, so we ask for your understanding."

"2NE1 cannot put on a show without Park Bom. However, besides that, Park Bom is not participating in any other domestic schedules. She is currently taking time to self-reflect. Please support them until they make their comeback. They will make a good album and come back as 2NE1."
