XIA Junsu Attends World Tour Press Conference, "Start My World Tour from the Center of the World, New York"

Asia's star XIA Junsu announced the start of his world tour of North and South America.

Today, JYJ member Junsu attended the press conference for his World Tour at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton New York City-Times Square, 6th floor, Hudson Ballroom.

When asked about his thoughts about the start of his world tour, he replied, "I've performed here in NY with JYJ for a showcase, but this is the first time standing solo. I want to make a performance that fulfills the requests of my New York fans. I plan to perform my new song, Uncommitted as well as a song from my previous album, Tarantallegra, in English.

Junsu also introduced his new title song, Uncommitted. He stated, "The song's main focus is a 'bad boy' image. It is my first performance in New York so I hope that the fans enjoy it."

Junsu also mentioned that the hardest part about succeeding in the U.S. market was the cultural difference and having to adjust the way he appeals to the public according to their tastes.

When asked why he chose to start his world tour in New York, he replied that he wanted to start his tour in the center of the world.

Towards the end of the conference, he was asked what he thought about the recent success with other K-Pop artists in the U.S. and how he invasions his solo career here.  Junsu stated, "It is important for us artists to keep our K-Pop roots. It is easy to lose our colors while working with U.S. producers. I plan to keep my 'XIA' style while working on my music."

Junsu will have his New York concert tomorrow and continue on to L.A. and Mexico for the start of his world tour.
