Editor's Pick: Teen Top Lay Down A Slow Jam With Some Kick On 'I'm Sorry' [VIDEO]

When it comes to K-pop, there are few groups that can compete with the versatility and depth of ability shown by the six members of Teen Top.

From Seoul to Southern California, so many boy bands or girl groups have one breakout star or they can rap but they can't sing, or their rapping is strong but their hooks don't stand out.

There isn't an untalented member to be found in this group.

Teen Top has experimented with 1980s electro sounds on "To You" and early 1990s booty R&B on "Don't I" and put their distinctive stamp on each idiom.

With "I'm Sorry," Teen Top's most recent single, released on Sunday, the boys are back, adding some serious pep to the sound of the late-1990s boy band slow jam.

Like any great Backstreet Boys or 'N Sync song, "I'm Sorry" is a guilty pleasure, but one that only gets more enjoyable upon repeated listens.

Both their rapping and hooks manage to walk the tightrope of paying homage to Western hip-hop while being distinctive Korean, not just in the obvious, lingual sense but in the way the band members carry themselves with dignity and passionate restraint.

But regardless of where they're from, with "I'm Sorry," Teen Top are showing that they are heading into what will be their fifth year in July, with more style and substance than ever.

And did I mention they can dance their asses off? The fired up choreography in the "I'm Sorry" video turns a simple concept into a work of art. With a band this gifted, all any of us observers can do is sit back and wait for what the next sound they deliver will be.

It will undoubtedly be a trip worth taking.
