HTC One M9 Getting 5.2-Inch 2K Display? M8 Successor To Have 128 GB Storage To Rival The iPhone 6? Release Date At Mobile World Congress On February 2014 In Barcelona?

Rumors about the HTC One M9 release date and specs are continuously circulating online.

The latest reports about the HTC One M9 provide more possible specs for the upcoming smartphone. Stuff.TV reports that the HTC One M8 successor might boasts of a 2K display, joining the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and LG G3 which also features the 2K screen. Particularly, the HTC One M9 is rumored to get the 5.2-inch display with a screen resolution of 2560 X 1440 and a pixel density of 564 ppi.

As for other news, the HTC One M9 might also get a Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor paired with 3 GB of RAM, both features also available on the Galaxy Note 4.

Also, HTC's upcoming flagship device might also come with a model that has a whopping 128GB storage memory, most likely to compete with the iPhone 6 model with the same capacity. The 64GB HTC One M9 might also arrive.

The M8 successor is also expected to run Android 5.0 Lollipop, Google's latest operating system. And natural to smartphone updates, the new HTC One should also get a better resolution, higher camera specs and longer battery life. The One M9 body might be waterproof, too. 

Meanwhile, speculations about the HTC One M9 release date point to a February 2014 launch, particularly during the Mobile World Congress which will be held in February.   

In addition to the rumors about the HTC One M9 release date and specs, rumors also imply that a more premium variant might also be released by the Taiwanese phone manufacturer. Reportedly, the HTC One M9 Prime may also hit the shelves soon.
