INFINITE To Collaborate With Japan's Top Guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei For Their New Single 'Dilemma'

Boy group INFINITE has teamed up with Japan's top guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei for their new single, Dilemma, that will release on December 24 in Japan.

Oricon Style stated, "7 member group INFINITE will collaborate with guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei for their upcoming new song, 'Dilemma'. This is the first time Hotei has given a song to a Korean artist as well."

The article also released that INFINITE member L was a fan of Hotei and had listened to many of his guitar melodies. L showed much excitement and honor to be able to work with the famous guitarist. Hotei will also be showcasing his solo guitar sound in the song as well.

On the other hand, INFINITE member Sungyeol, L and Seongjong will be coming out as a new unit group called INFINITE F.

Back in September, INFINITE was the first K-Pop artists to top the Billboard Twitter Emerging Artists Chart with their single, Last Romeo.

Their dance practice video on YouTube received much attention as they took the number one spot on the chart. They also ranked number 33 on the Billboard Twitter Top Tracks Chart as well.

This is a huge feat for K-Pop as it is very rare to see a song that is not in English top these charts. The group's goal was not to gain more of an American audience either. They actually first released this single in May and later uploaded the practice video in September. This video became a hit with their '90s style dance steps.

INFINITE debuted in 2010 under Woollim Entertainment and consists of 7 members. Their newest unit group, INFINITE F will be debuting in Japan on November 19 with their single, Love Sign.

This past summer the group also held their second series of their summer concert titled, 2014 INFINITE That Summer 2. It was held from August 7-10 and August 14-16 in Korea and met with around a total of 15,000 fans.
