MTV Mourns Demise Of One Of Its Reality Star, Diem Brown 32 Who Succumbs To Cancer

MTV is mourning the passing of one of its reality star that has succumbed to death after years of battling cancer, People Magazine reported Friday.

Diem Brown, 32 dies of cancer. She starred in MTV's "Real World/Road Rules Challenge Brown first appeared on the network's "Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Fresh Meat" in 2006.

She battled with ovarian cancer for years but recovered from it but again in 2012 she was diagnosed with colon cancer.

"MTV is tremendously sad to hear the news that Diem Brown has lost her long battle with cancer, " according to a statement.

"We send our deepest condolences to her family and friends. Diem was a true fighter and brought passion to everything she touched. We will miss her."

The last tweet Brown posted was on Tuesday where she asked for prayers over her illness.

"I NEED PRAyErs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won't & can't rollover," she tweeted.

Although Brown was in remission after undergoing treatment for her ovarian cancer, the disease spread to her colon, liver and lymph nodes.

 "I was blown away. It really crushed a little bit of my spirit; it was such a dark, dark, dark, dark place. I would go in the bathtub and just lay down for hours, with the water running," she added. "I kept getting worse, and I felt like it would never end, Brown said in a People Magazine interview.

 In her latest interview, Brown was positive that she would again recover from the latest cancer, which was discovered by doctors in August.

"I'm going to have a family and get married and the whole American, 2½ kids, white-picket-fence dream," she said. "It's something that's really important to me, because it means a long-term future, " Brown stated in that interview.

This time though, she did not win the battle.
