What happened on the last episode of "The Simpsons?"

On "Simpsorama," the episode which aired last Sunday, "In a crossover episode with "Futurama," that show's Planet Express crew arrives in modern-day Springfield to keep the Simpsons from having a disastrous impact on the future."

What should we look forward to for tonight's episode (S26E07)? Warning: spoilers ahead!

USA Today chooses tonight's episode of the Simpson as its top pick for Sunday night TV, explaining "Willem Dafoe lends his voice as a new teacher who vows to crush Bart's spirit. Good luck with that. If his family hasn't been able to do that by now, you'd have to think Bart is impregnable."

According to RYOT, "Well it looks like America's favorite animated family will join the likes of "Malcolm in the Middle," "South Park," "American Dad" and "Reno 911!" in making the annual pilgrimage to America's favorite freak show. Yes, we're talking about the "The Simpsons" and Burning Man happening together - and judging by the size of Marge's pupils, it'll be a damn good time. It comes as no surprise that the episode's transparent title, "Blazed and Confused," will likely probably feed into the general view of the festival as a raging opus of narcotic stimulation. But before we get all sensitive about Burner culture being stereotyped, just know longtime producer/director David Silverman has some insider cred being a frequent citizen himself. Silverman's been around since the earliest days of the animated series, and he made the announcement on Twitter earlier this year. From Burning Man. In a kilt and probably intoxicated no less. So expect any jabs at the fest to be tongue-in-cheek. Rumor has it that many familiar fixtures on the playa - that dry, flat lakebed of a canvas upon which this crazy city is built - will also be be showing up to play. Then there's the sinister cameo by Willem Defoe, who by all appearances won't be a hallucinatory apparition."

Care for some more spoilers?

"Photos from the new episode, called 'Blazed and Confused'...[give] a good idea what the festival has in store for the Springfield's most famous family. On 16 November in the US, viewers can expect to see Homer go native, some herbal high induced psychedelia and the traditional festival row between any married couple. Music has always played an important role in The Simpsons, recently US cable-TV channel Fox aired a four-hour marathon of the best musical episodes from the sitcom's 25 year history. The new episode also features a cameo by Willem Defoe as a bullying school teacher, whether he will also be going to Burning Man remains to be seen. Launched in 1986, Burning Man operates on barter and gifts alone, whilst the huge five mile site means this specific area in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada becomes one of the strangest towns in the world for one week every year. Perhaps not stranger than Springfield though..." explains Gigwise.
