Girl group SISTAR member Hyorin chose Beyonce as her favorite pop star in an interview with SURE magazine.
Hyorin believes that a happy place is better than a glamourous place. She commented, "I want to be like Beyonce, who sings in small hospitals to the patients and sends love and support to them."

When asked about her fashion, she commented, "I don't like fashion that matches with one's personality or that is too complicated. Since I am a darker skin tone I like bright colors because it lets my skin pop."
