Leeteuk "I Got Beaten Up By My Father, Growing Up"

Super Junior member Leeteuk confesses about his unhappy childhood and family background.

MBC's "Good Day" episode aired on Monday revealed Leeteuk's interview video. 

In the released video, Leeteuk talked about his unhappy family. Leeteuk said. "My parents fought so much and I got beaten up a lot. I got so much stress from that since I was in elementary school."

He added on saying "I was scared of my father. I disliked him. Because of that, I doubted my path when I was practicing and I really wanted to succeed fast."

The viewers couldn't help to be surprised since Leeteuk only shows his bright side on the entertainment shows.

Viewers of the video responded saying, "It's amazing how he came to be a Hallyu star after such pain," and "Leeteuk is giving people joy and laughter by overcoming his hard childhood. He's great."
