Although 2NE1 won't be having another comeback this year, its leader CL is busy gearing up for her US debut.

Recently on Instagram, CL continued to keep the buzz going by posting photos with several prominent American producers and songwriters, including Skrillex and Jesse Jo Stark.

Earlier in March, CL collaborated with Skrillex on the track "Dirty Vibe" for his latest album, "Recess." After it was released on iTunes, the album quickly shot up to the top of the iTunes chart in the United States. In addition, the album also hit the top slot in Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, El Salvador,New Zealand, Paraguay, Thailand, and Ukraine.

"After G-Dragon and CL were featured on Skrillex's new album track 'Dirty Vibe,' they also participated in the music video shoot," a YG Entertainment representative reportedly told the publication MyDaily back in August.

Meanwhile, 22-year-old Stark has equal passions in both fashion and music, similar to CL. According to her official website, Stark's parents are owners of the luxury brand Chrome Hearts, which coincidentally received a shout-out from 2NE1 in the English version of their hit single "Can't Nobody."

Although CL's collaboration with Stark and Skrillex is still unconfirmed, one American producer she will be working with is Diplo.

"I'm very happy about advancing into America and think I'm going to work a lot with Diplo," said CL at the 2014 Style Icon Awards accompanied by Diplo. "Diplo is so cool and good-looking."

CL will also be working with talent manager Scooter Braun for her US venture. Known for managing Justin Bieber, Psy, Ariana Grande and Carly Rae Jepsen, Braun teased their new partnership by mentioning CL on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the other 2NE1 members are busy with individual activities, with Dara recently completing her first solo fanmeeting in Korea. Minzy was also recently seen performing alongside Epik High for the trio's single "Happen Ending."
