Hollywood Report stated today, "The 'Ellen Show' hit a 3% viewer rating with Psy's surprise appearance. This is their best record since 2003."

This is a good rating for a korean guest to appear on a U.S. show. This past January, Girls' Generation appeared on CBS "David Letterman Show" and reached a 0.8% viewer rating. This shows that the Psy syndrome is still going strong.

Psy's appearance on the show also raised the standards for the show. One U.S. official commented, "The 'Ellen Show' is the most watched show by women. With the appearance of Psy, the show's standards have gone up."

Psy appeared on the show as a guest to teach Britney Spears his signature 'horse-riding' dance move.

U.S. internet users commented, "Britney looks so happy" and "U.S. and Korea's best performers finally meet."
