Psy has been gaining attention through his critique as a judge on the show, "Superstar K4." He does not hesitate to critique contestants that need more work as well as compliment those with great talent.

Psy gave out advice to contestants that were not confident enough saying that they had to perform in front of the judges as if they were the audience.

For those with talented skills, Psy did not stop with his praise. For one contestant who played the piano, Psy stated, "Our country is a country of music. How are there so many genius musicians here?"

Psy also showed emotion when one contestant sang a song for his mom who was battling cancer.
