Rapper Psy has set another record by ranking number 8 on the U.S. iTunes Main Chart. It is a first for a Korean artist to rank within the top 10.

Today, Psy has ranked number 8 on the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart with "Gangnam Style." Just last week he was at number 18. In just five days he has moved up to the 'Top 10'.

The iTunes Chart is a chart that shows which songs are the most popular right now. Having a korean song on the list is a rare sight and proves the 'Psy syndrome'.

Psy's ranking probably had a lot to do with his appearances on the "Ellen Show" and the MTV VMA's. 

YG Entertainment commented, "We are so happy to have ranked number 8 on a chart that is very well known in the states."
