Rapper Psy's impact in the U.S. is shocking the world.

Today on the Time magazine website, "Gangnam Style" was added to their weekly vocabulary list. 

They also reported that people who follow the "Gangnam Style" craze receives much more attention as well.

The song has become a hit in the U.S. with it ranking number 7 on the U.S. iTunes Single Chart 'Top Songs'. 

It is even more shocking to find a song that is not in English to be found on the iTunes chart.

"The Ellen Show" also received the highest viewer rating they've ever had since 2003 due to Psy's surprise appearance on the show.

Psy will be making an appearance on the "Today Show" tomorrow and perform at the 'iHeartRadio Music Festival' on September 21-22 in Las Vegas.
