"The beginning of Terminator: Genisys, the first of three planned films that Paramount hopes will relaunch the beloved sci-fi franchise, is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Divergent's Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post apocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor's mother, Sarah (Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator programmed to kill her so that she won't ever give birth to John. According to the Arnold Schwarzenegger, two T-800 robots are included in the sequel, a younger one which will be controlled by Skynet and an older version that's about to get reprogrammed and will be shown later in the movie.

On that note, famous fitness trainer turned actor Aaron V. Williamson revealed that he signed on to play the younger T-800 role. He posted the news on his social media account, however he decided to delete it.

"Thanks to an amazing team of people who help me get better each week, both physically & creatively, I'll be playing a T-800 (Terminator) in the upcoming production Terminator: Genesis. I'm extremely grateful & motivated as this new chapter begins to take shape," according to the post of Williamson.

Even though the first film was made 30 years ago, Arnold Schwarzenegger is still set to play the role of the life-saving cyborg in the movie. And in case you are wondering why the former California governor is sporting a gray hair, he has this to say:

"The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath," he told MTV News. "It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."

In the same interview with MTV, he admitted that aging and having other priorities on hand was one reason he missed to be in the part of the series. He claimed that he was upset that the movie pushed through without him but is certainly happy to be back for the fifth one.

"I was upset that I couldn't be in the fourth Terminator, because I was governor [of California]," he admitted. "So they did the fourth one without me, it made me cry a little bit. But I did say, 'I'll be back,' so now I'm back again and it's going to be really terrific."

"Terminator 5" is scheduled for release in July 1, 2015.
