Nicki Minaj, who's sexy Anaconda YouTube video slithered hypnotically through the internet, is actually quite shy.

Nicki can get all shades of sexy during performances, stopped on the red carpet at the 2014 American Music Awards to tell E! News "Yes and people don't know that. I feel shy a lot of times actually. I just push myself to go for it."

E! News' Giuliana Rancic asked Nicki Minaj what it is that scares her at the American Music Awards 2014

"Being away from my family and people who love me and love me the most. So I'm going to move back to the East Coast...just to keep grounded and be around," Nicki said. "I want to see my baby brother grow up a little more. I think it's good for the soul."

Nicki is reportedly moving to New York and is getting ready for a new album coming out called The Pinkprint, which will be available starting Dec. 15. "I'm so excited. I'm so proud of it," Minaj said. Adding "It really shows a lot of growth. I know that my fans are really going to appreciate the subject matter on a lot of the songs."

The new record is nowhere near Minaj's last. On Sunday, Minaj told E! News "I said it after the fifth album.  I'm only about to put out the third album so that's a long time from now."

Nicki Mina recently had to take to Twitter to explain her "Nazi" video, was the director's homage to a Cartoon Network cartoon called "Metalocaplyse."

Nicki Minaj's new single, "Only" features guest appearances by rapper Lil Wayne, singer Chris Brown and rapper and former Nickelodeon TV star Drake.

The video for Nicki Minaj's "Only" alluded to the work of World War II Nazi cinematographer Leni Riefenstahl.
