U-KISS will be awarded a special achievement award in honor for their contribution to the Hallyu wave.

On September 19, U-KISS will receive the award at Arirang TV's event in celebration of their reach over 100 million clients. The Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will deliver the award at the event.

U-KISS successfully completed a concert in Japan's Budokan, earlier this month, with 10,000 fans, which put them in the ranks of the great Hallyu stars.

The event hosted by Arirang TV and was sponsored by the National Branding Committee, Korea Communications Commission, Korean Culture and Information Service and The Korea Foundation.

U-KISS is to receive this award for their efforts as an idol group that really helped to spread Korean culture to other countries.

Not only that, they've received a lot of performance requests with the news of their comeback in Korea. They are currently in the works of creating a promotion tour that includes Thailand, the Philippines, U.S., Malaysia and China.

Representative of U-KISS shared, "We are glad to be receiving this award to be acknowledged as an idol group helping to promote Korean music. We will continuously work hard not only in Korea, but overseas as well."

U-KISS will release their new album, "Stop Girl," on September 20.
