Taemin Reflects On His Music Career In GQ's 'Men Of The Year'

SHINee resident power dancer Taemin was included in GQ magazine's annual "Men of the Year" feature for their upcoming December issue.

For this shoot, Taemin got rid of the gimmicks and make up and opted for a very minimalist style. Taemin wore all-black outfits with his face free of any makeup of sorts. The shoot was simple yet extremely classy.

In the interview portion, Taemin revealed that he was happy to see how people reacted with his promotions for "Danger." This year, Taemin surprised everyone with his own solo album - having been the first member of SHINee to release a solo album.

Taemin said, "I wanted to show a more artistic part of me when I performed on stage. To do that, I immersed myself in my music. It's a matter of how much I dedicate myself into it and how much people would pay attention to it. Whenever I'm on stage, I'm able to concentrate better."

Taemin received a lot of praise for solo promotions and many even likened him to Michael Jackson.

With everything he has achieved so far, Taemin shared that he feels satisfied with what he has and explained that where he is now is even better than what he had imagined. "When I was a kid, I only thought about singing and dancing, but now I'm seeing a whole new style that I never imagined before," Taemin shared.
