New Duo, Blue Marble, Begins Activity With 7dayz

New duo, Blue Marble, begins activity with 7dayz.

Before debuting, the new 2-man electronic hip-hop group, Blue Marble, had already drawn a lot of interest not just in Korea, but also in Europe and Southeast Asia through Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and SNS. They finally begin official activity with their first single '7dayz'.

Even before debuting, they were able to fine-tune their skills through events and invite concerts in Seoul and other regions within Korea. Thay have also raised interest on Europe's 'Soompi France' through various SNS online resources and have received casting and interview requests after increasing Korean music interest in Japan, China, Thialand, and Indonesia. Thus they are on track to becoming an international group.

Their first single album contains the songs '7dayz' and 'Bitch', which have already been very popular through Facebook and Youtube. Especially by producing themselves, 'Blue Marble' are making efforts to add their own color to their music. Also, by including DBSK, Hye Ryoung, and Lyn in their album with the assistance of recognized producer Tae Moo's whole-hearted support, they came out with an even more solid album.

Upon examination, '7dayz' is a track that best displays 'Blue Marble's musicality. The overall atmosphere of the song is dominated by a strong synthesizer sound which combines with a familiar 8-beat rhythm, making the track cheerful and fun. The chorus is especially addicting with its repetitive melody and lyrics. Through its soft melodic rap, it is a song that even those new to electronic hip-hop will enjoy. It is a bright song that beautifully expresses the love one has for a woman, including memorable lyrics that described how a man will only love one woman from Monday to Sunday.

On the other hand, 'Bitch' - another song in the album - is a song that displays masculinity, with its roughly made padded sound and overall machine-like sounds. This song honestly describes the feelings of a man after seeing his girlfriend with another man. It is a track noted by its charismatic low-pitch rap and sharp high-pitch vocals.

'Blue Marble' also appeared on Daegu cable TCN Power-M's 'Idol Survival'. On this show - designed in a survival format - they showed of their abilities along with other singers such as former Superstar K entrants Eun-mi Woo and Tae-jin Park.

Recently, they drew more interest by participating in the recording of the ending title song for MBC drama 'Me Too, Flower!' OST.

Now let us watch with interest 'Blue Marble's journey through Korea and beyond.
