"Gangnam Style" Psy has been invited to the MTV Europe Awards.

Today on the MTV Europe Awards official website, Psy's "Gangnam Style" can be seen listed under the nominees for "best video."

MTV stated, "Psy, who has been a singer in Korea for 10 years has now become a world sensation with his song, 'Gangnam Style'."

Psy is competing against top artists such as Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

Psy is currently number 1 on the U.S. iTunes Music Video Chart as well as the YouTube charts. 

Psy has also set a record on the U.S. Billboard Charts. 

"Gangnam Style" has been at number 1 for the 3 days in a row on the U.S. iTunes Single Chart.

Psy has ranked number 1 on various charts and has appeared on the "Today Show", "SNL" and other famous shows.

The MTV Europe Awards will be held on November 11.
