Is it fate for "Gangnam Style" Psy to become a 'world star'?

In the midst of Psy's international fame, his mother's thoughts were revealed.

According to an official, Psy's mother had gone to a fortune telling place where they had told her that Psy would become a world sensation. After watching her son become popular overseas, she believed that the fortune teller was correct. 

YG Entertainment stated, "When we asked his mom if she had really gone to a fortune teller, but she avoided the question."

Psy is ranking high on the charts with number 1 on the U.S. iTunes Single Chart, Billboard Social 50 Chart and number 64 on the Hot 100 Chart.

He is almost at 200 million views on Youtube and is ranked at number 1 for the U.S. iTunes MV Chart. He has also signed a contract with Justin Bieber's agency and has appeared on the "Ellen Show", "Today Show", "SNL" and other programs.

Psy will return to Korea on September 25.
