Jessica Jung Makes Her First Korean Appearance Since Leaving Girls' Generation At Fendi Store Event In Seoul [VIDEO]

Jessica's appetite for fashion couldn't keep her away from Seoul for very long.

Two months after leaving the K-Pop group Girls' Generation, the idol-turned-fashion designer made her first public appearance in South Korea.

Jessica Jung attended a Fendi store opening event on November 25th at the Lotte Mall in Jamsil, Seoul. Her high profile appearance marked her first time attending a public event in South Korea since leaving Girls' Generation on September 30th.

Jessica posed for press photos during the relatively small event. One hundred people were said to have been in attendance including 40 fans who reportedly showed up to see the former Girls' Generation star. Jessica thanked and greeted the fans before she left the event.

Since leaving her former agency, SM Entertainment, Jessica has been focusing her attention on her newly launched fashion company, BLANC & ECLARE. Her commitments to the company were said to be at the root of her split with Girls' Generation.

In the last two months, Jessica has been focusing on promoting her fashion brand in China, making appearances at the Lane Crawford anniversary event in Shanghai and was a celebrity guest for the 2014 Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-AM golf tournament in Hainan.

"I'm going to be taking it step by step in the fashion industry," she said in an interview at the Lane Crawford event on October 16. "I did not lose my passion for the entertainment industry, so for my fans, there are a lot of great things in the works."
