New hit sensation Psy was surprised when hundreds of people performed a "Gangnam Style" flash mob in front of him in L.A.

Yesterday, Psy was in a shopping mall in L.A. for an interview with "Extra TV."

After the interview, the MC linked arms with Psy and began taking him somewhere. She gave the sign and the group began their performance.

Psy was touched to see the group perform his song. The group had met up 2 hours before Psy's interview to rehearse the dance moves.

According to the fan cam that was uploaded, it looked as if the age range in the flash mob was from younger than 10 years to around 20-30 years old.

Psy's "Gangnam Style" has now reached about 200 million views on Youtube.
