Hideo Kojima Game Silent Hills For PS4 Set To Have Its Release Date On March 2015?

Silent Hills is coming soon to PS4 and Xbox One but still, developers and game creators are still deciding to which format would the game be.

Report from Game Skinny suggest that after an interview with Hideo Kojima, the Metal Gear Solid creator revealed that the horror game would run on a Fox Engine that usually caters to open world games.

"All I can say is that Fox Engine is meant for Open World. I cannot discuss more on the game design itself in detail yet," as reported by Kdramastars.

With regards to gameplay, Silent Hills is yet to be decided if it would run on a First Person or third person point of view.

"We're not sure yet...Development is cycling between either allowing players to choose to play the whole game in first-person or third-person, or keeping it fixed third-person and having some areas be first-person only. Either way, we want to do something with first-person. The game will not be out more than likely until 2016, lots of time left."

Another report by Dual Shockers states game creator Hideo Kojima said that they are structuring the game to be like of a TV series to have fans on the edge of their seats with an episodic feature that would have gamers to download an episode each time before playing the game.

As reported by IGN, director Guillermo Del Toro and creator Kojima recently said their thoughts about the new game and how they can further improve on the horror title after getting positive feedback on the PT.

"We talked about concepts and tools at his headquarters in Tokyo," del Toro said. "Then he sent his first version of the playable teaser. I saw it loved it. We then... exchanged ideas and the result was the playable teaser you see now... The concepts we're discussing, the ideas that we're discussing and the tools that are in play to create Silent Hills are going to render an incredibly intense and an incredibly scary game."

Despite being directed and created by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, Silent Hill will be casted by The Walking Dead's "Daryl Dixon", Norman Reedus to play as the main character in the story.

Silent Hills is expected to be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC reportedly on 2016, though no official announcement of the release has been revealed yet.
