Natalie Dormer Jokes About Her ‘Resting B***h Face’ And How It Got Her Roles In ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 5 And ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1’

Natalie Dormer joked about her "resting b***h face" (also fondly known as "RBF") and how it got her roles in "Game of Thrones" season 5 and "Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1."

In Nylon's December 2014/Jan 2015 double issue, Natalie Dormer talked about the pattern in the roles she lands, owing a lot of it to her RBF.

"I must have a variation on resting bitch face, like, maybe I have resting manipulative face, through no fault of my own," she told Nylon.

Natalie Dormer added, "don't overestimate the occasional laziness and lack of imagination that can be found in this industry that continuously recasts you in roles you've already played."

"And I don't think there's any level of fame that can justify that kind of invasion into privacy, not to mention laws being broken. I mean, people just need to get a grip if they think that's even halfway acceptable."

Natalie plays Margaery Tyrell"Game of Thrones" and told Nylon that she loves the character.

"I wish I had Margaery's knack for opportunistically manipulating a situation on the spot, but I don't," she said.

"I suppose that I'm a bit of a tomboy, and I probably say things out loud that I shouldn't. I'm quite a straightforward person, not underhanded like my character."

As we previously reported, Natalie Dormer told the  New York Post what she thinks of Margaery: "Margaery Tyrell is a Kate Middleton/Michelle Obama hybrid, a first lady/princess, trying to win over hearts and minds. The Princess Di effect, you may call it," the "Game of Thrones" actress said.

"I think she'd make a brilliant psychotherapist," she added. "I have this theory that she'd be the best therapist ever."

Dormer also plays Cressida in "Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1."

"Game of Thrones" season 5 is expected to premiere next spring.
