During the interview held with the photo shoot, Sooyoung was asked about acting in the tvN drama "The 3rd Hospital," to which she answered, "At first I was scared that I would be nervous but I was able to focus more on acting as time progressed. I think it's because other actors helped me be more comfortable with the setting. Seung Woo always came down to my level and was very gentle to me. Ji Ho is more of the fun and teasing type, the atmosphere maker. He also gave me many tips in acting."
About her role in the drama, she said "She is a lovely character, but also a very mature one. The character may seem very light at first but the Eu Jin that I got to know through reading the script is an amazing woman who sacrifices herself for love and does not fear getting hurt."
About acting career, she said "I've always wanted to act even before I became a singer. Before I debuted as a singer, I prepared acting here and there, and got rejected from at least 70 auditions. But I couldn't give up. I consistently tried, and finally I was able to be casted."
Sooyoung's photo shoot and interview can be found on the fashion magazine 1st Look.
