Pop sensation Psy spoke about how happy he was to be traveling abroad.

On the Friday episode of "MBC Special - PSY," the program focused on Psy and the recent "Gangnam Style" sensation.

In a scene, Psy says, "The 'New Artist' phase only happens once in our career but I think I've come to it again for the first time in 12 years. I'm kind of nervous. It wasn't really mine to begin with so if it doesn't work out then that's okay too."

Before going on his promotion, Psy signed with Universal Republic Records and Justin Bieber's management Scooter Braun. During his stay in the US, Psy attended the 2012 MTV VMAs, NBC's TODAY Show, SNL and other programs.

Psy also said, "I think it would have been really disappointing if I released a new song in Korea but didn't do well. However, this is a whole new market that I never even thought of so it's just extra for me."

The music video for "Gangnam Style" has currently passed 200 million views on YouTube and is #1 on the iTunes charts in 30 different countries. It's #11 on the Billboard 'Hot 100' Singles chart, which is the best record for a Korean artist in history.

Psy will next attend the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September 21st and 22nd.
