On Friday, Gil Tweeted an intent to leave "Infinite Challenge" after explaining the controversy around their Super 7 Concert.
Gil explained the background behind planning the 'Super 7 Concert,' and said, "We wanted to give a performance that we weren't able to show on TV with the best sound, the best stage, the best lights, and service that wouldn't seem bad compared to other blockbuster performances from around the world. That's why we decided to have the performance be at a charge (not free.)"
He continued by saying, "We were trying to think of how we can give our proceeds back to the people. We thought of donating to an orphanage, a scholarship and establishing a non-profit. We had many fun ideas though they weren't specific."
He added, "I really want to stress that we weren't trying to profit from the performance and were planning on giving it all back as we always did. All the decisions and all the planning was done by me and the members' only fault is that they trusted me and came here. It's entirely my fault and I want to apologize."
He finished with a statement that said, "Finally, I will leave with a very apologetic stance. Gary as well has also decided to leave. The past 3 years that we were with the fans of Infinite Challenge were amazing and I was always grateful."
