Sony Releases New Headphones Commercial Featuring IU

In a recent upload on Sony Korea's official YouTube channel, IU is featured as the main model in the new ad for Sony's new MDR headphones.

In the promotional video IU is seen showcasing her naturally cute features in the mellow themed video. Along with IU are other individuals whom also enjoy the high quality sounds of the new Sony MDR's. IU swoons us with a smooth voice near the end of the ad with the slogan for MDR, "Music Deserves Respect".

The Sony MDR headphones come in three different styles including the XB950BT, 1ADAC, and the MDR Z7. Each MDR offers and over-the-head design meant to emphasis each and every sound. The "Music Deserves Respect" refers to emphasizing each music piece and getting the most out of each and every sound. The popular MDR Z7's are currently running for $700 on the official Sony website.

Back in October, IU was seen rocking the MDR-Z7's at Sony Korea's MDR launching event for the new headgear. The songstress attended the event with singer-songwriter and TV host, Yoo Hee Yeol. The MDR headphones are perfect to listen to Yoo Hee Yeol's 7th Studio album, Da Capo. The 'Da Capo' features the hit track, "Three People" accompanied by legendary ballad singer Sung Si Kyung. The album also features R&B singer, Crush; alternative singer, Lim Kim; and Akdong Musician's Suhyun.

In related news, IU has been having an active past couple months after securing not only endorsements with Sony but also but Chamisool Soju and SBENU footwear. We can even expect to see IU as part of the performance line-up for the 2014 MAMA Awards that are less than a day away!

IU pulled off winning Best Artist of the Year at the 2014 Melon Music Awards and is currently nominated Best Female Artist and Best Vocal Performance Female for the 2014 MAMA Awards. Hopefully we can expect a new album release from IU as we fast approach 2015!
