'Gangnam Style' & 'Call Me Maybe' Mash-Up Goes Viral

During an interview with the Daily News, Michael Simmons revealed, "Honestly it started off as a joke between my cousin and me. He was dancing 'Gangnam Style' to 'Call Me Maybe' and I decided to do a mashup."

The 3 minutes and something seconds of this addicting mix of "Call Me Maybe" and "Gangnam Style" is a sensational hit that is becoming another hit of its own. Michael Simmons also mentioned how surprised he was one morning after seeing the number of plays his mashup received.

Carly Jepson is the winner of "Canadian Idol" who swept the charts with her new single, while Psy is a 34-year-old Korean singer from Korea with a "troublemaker" image. Both people, now global stars, gained international fame overnight and is maintaining their popularity with their unique character and style.
