‘Thor 3 Ragnarok’ Plot Rumors: Surtur Is Loki’s Ally Against Thanos? God Of Mischief Will Allegedly Betray Asgard By Setting Free The Ruler Of Muspelhiem With ‘The Eternal Flame!’

"Thor 3: Ragnarok" will follow the events from "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Based on the trailers and leaks, we know that Thor will take off alone somewhere in the movie. We also know that Loki has tricks up his sleeve.

A collection of Easter eggs can paint a clearer picture of how "Thor: Ragnarok" and its plot. It was established that Loki owes Thanos for their failed partnership in the first Avengers movie. That debt would probably be explored in Ragnarok-or even before it.

There is an integral Easter Egg that was spotted by What Culture and it may point to Loki forging a dangerous alliance that would place the Asgrad in peril.

"Yet another item in Odin's trophy room that was first seen in Thor, the Eternal Flame could be extremely important in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the comic books, it was stolen from Odin by some of Surtur's subordinates so that it could be used to light the fire demon's insanely powerful sword - Twilight - so that he could use it to bring about Ragnarok. So, you guessed it, it's an item that could be used to trigger the events of the movie Thor: Ragnarok.

To emphasize how powerful this item must be, Twilight - the aforementioned sword it powered in the comics - was capable of destroying galaxies and was created for the purpose of setting the entire universe on fire."

Loki could be the subordinate here but he could also be the subordinate for Thanos since the Tesseract and the Infinity Gauntlet are also in Odin's vault.

The God of Mischief is the center of the plot and his alleged appearance in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" hints that "Thor: Ragnarok" will involve more than just Asgard-as opposed to the claustrophobic "Thor: The Dark World" which strangely ignored the interconnections altogether.

"Thor 3: Ragnarok" has been tagged as the "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" of Phase 3, which means its aftermath will reverberate throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Loki is definitely the link for Thanos and the items in Odin's vault. The question is just how he will bring them together.
