On September 21, the "iHeartRadio Music Festival 2012" was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Psy was a special guest at the event and delivered an energy-filled performance of "Gangnam Style".

When Ryan Seacrest introduced Psy, approximately 16,800 people in the crowd went wild, screaming at the top of their lungs to welcome Psy onto the stage.

Psy was wearing a white tuxedo while wearing his sunglasses. Throughout his whole career, Psy has emphasized the importance of performing live on stage in front of an audience. On the stage at the music festival, Psy had to perform by himself without any back dancers. Regardless, Psy delivered a powerful performance of "Gangnam Style" with a confident look on his face.

To the audience, Psy stated "Show me how you jump inside of a building" and requested everyone to do the horse riding dance with him during his performance. Psy also made sure to stay energetic and powerful throughout his performance on stage.

When the song ended, Psy took off his sunglasses and gave the crowd a thumbs-up sign and expressed his gratitude to the people in the crowd who have all been going wild during his performance.
