Daft Punk Tour 2014 A No Go! Electronic Duo Setting Up Silently In A Studio To Work On A Follow Up?

A Daft Punk new album in the works? With their tour not happening for now, the electronic duo that brought us the hits 'Get Lucky' are still looking for a place for their own concert.

The group, however, is reported to focus on making their own TV Documentary, produced and made by BBC France.

Fuse.tv reports that the documentary promises that "viewers will get an insight into the artistic world of Daft Punk ... and the extraordinary story of the two award-winning French DJ musicians hidden behind robot masks."

Earlier this year, 'Random Access Memories' group reported to be scouting a place for a tour in South Dakota namely the Devils Tower in Wyoming but was rejected of the proposal because the place was said to be disrespectful for the tribes in the area if a big event such as this would push through.

Reed Robinson, superintendent for Devils Tower National Monument was said to be approached by an agency representing the electronic duo for a request of a show in the venue but was respectfully denied by tribes in the area.

"This being a night skies park and a natural park and a sacred site to 24 different tribes, that would be considered sacrilegious and gets into that 'inappropriate use'," Robinson said. "And that meant maybe we would have to close portions of the main trail to facilitate this kind of stuff."

Fans, meanwhile, go crazy on the social media demanding a tour from the electronic duo even trying to make a petition for the group to make international shows.

The duo's latest album Random Access Memories became a huge hit in the last year and grabbed tons of awards during the Grammys including Best Dance/Electronica Album, Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical), Record of the Year and the duo and Pharell got the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the hit song.

In recent years, the electronic group has been nominated numerous times for Grammys, also winning the Best Dance Recording for another hit song "Harder Better Faster Stronger" and Best Electronic/Dance Album for the record "Alive 2007", in the 2009 Grammys.
