EXO Announces 2015 Comeback After Performance At MAMA 2014

SM Entertainment has released the first teaser video for popular male idol group EXO's 2015 comeback.

On December 3, SMTOWN's official YouTube channel released a short teaser video announcing EXO's comeback. No exact date was given, but the video says "EXO 2015 Coming Soon." This will be EXO's first comeback since two of the members left the group in 2014.

No EXO members appeared in the teaser video. Instead, the video showed images of metallic and gray objects, including silver balls running through the lines of EXO's linear maze-like hexagon logo.

EXO's last album, "Overdose," was released in May 2014.

Also in May, EXO subgroup EXO-M leader Kris left the group. In October, EXO-M's Luhan also filed a lawsuit to nullify his contract.

EXO has continued to promote as a ten member group.

Comments on the video noted that the teaser video ended with ten balls surrounding EXO's hexagon, with two balls in the center, a complete twelve. SM Entertainment has not addressed fans' concerns of adding another two members, to ensure that both the EXO-M and EXO-K subgroups of EXO retain six members each.

The teaser video for EXO's 2015 comeback was released the same night that EXO won multiple awards at the Mnet Asian Music Awards. The group won several awards dispute several scandals and member withdrawals in 2014.

EXO won Album of the Year for "Overdose," as well as the Artist of the Year, Best Male Group, and the Best Asian Style special award. EXO had also been nominated for Best Dance Performance-Male Group, but lost to INFINITE.

SM Entertainment has not announced the comeback date or title of EXO's 2015 comeback. SM Entertainment has also confirmed that 2015 will see a solo debut of f(x)'s rapper Amber, and announced that there will be more solo artists debuting from SM Entertainment.
