UNIQ Makes A Big Splash In Taiwan With 30 Appearances In 1 Week

Newly debuted 5 member group UNIQ have taken over Taiwan in just one month.

UNIQ had over 30 scheduled promotions during their 1 week promotion in Taiwan and received an overwhelming amount of support and love at each event from their fans.

On December 1, they held a press conference where 100 fans attended in order to support the group.

Although it has only been one month since the group has debuted, they have been receiving a huge amount of support and attention.

They recently held a 3,000 fans showcase in Beijing and have appeared in over 10 TV shows. From November 27, they appeared on “Kangxi Lai Le”, “The Gang of Kuo Kuan”, “University”, “Idols of Asia” and “100% Entertainment.”

They also continued their promotions with radio broadcasts, magazine photo shoots and more.

Also during their 1 week promotion, they also held their Taiwan fan meeting and performed their new song, “Falling In Love” and revealed their ‘perfume dance’, which a Korean choreographer made especially for their song. This dance moves in this song are a balance of strong and detail and allowed the group to show off their skills. They also perfumed their song, “Born To Fight,” which was a soundtrack for the Chinese version of the movie, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

They also revealed tears towards the end of the fan meeting as the members family members were also in the audience supporting them.

During the press conference, they also revealed their vocal talents as they sang B.o.B’s “Airplanes” in acapella.

UNIQ is a Chinese-South Korean idol group and was created by Yuehua Entertainment. The group is made up of 3 Chinese members and 2 Korean members. They trained in YG Entertainment before debuting this past October. They released both Korean and Chinese versions of their debut song, “Falling In Love.”
