Fans of K-Pop idol groups EXO and BTS took to social media after two members of the groups took twin-like photos together.

BTS' V shared a selfie that he took with EXO's Baekhyun on Instagram the day after EXO and BTS appeared at the 2014 MAMA ceremony. In the picture Baekhyun and V look shockingly like identical twins. Both men are making the same expression, and their hair and makeup are styled the same way.

Fans of EXO and BTS took notice of the picture and within a hour after V shared the picture on his Instagram and BTS' official Twitter account, the image was trending worldwide on Twitter. The phrase "Baekhyun and Taehyung," which is V's legal name, was one of the top ten trends on December 4.

Along with the image, V wrote: " MAMA was really enjoyable and interesting and we will show a cooler performance next time! Thank you ARMY [BTS' fanclub] and thank you very much for waiting~<3 Congratulations Hyung [lit. "older brother," meaning Baekhyun] for receiving the award~"

V and Baekhyun's likeliness has been noticed by fans before, and in 2013 V joked on an Mnet show that his parents EXO's Baekhyun and B.A.P's Daehyun.

EXO won four awards at MAMA 2014, including the Album of the Year and Artist of the Year awards.

 BTS was nominated for two categories, and performed both on the Red Carpet and during the main performance, when BTS performed a collaboration stage with Block B.

The 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards was in held Hong Kong on December 3. Along with BTS and EXO, there were performances by John Legend, Girls' Generation's Tiffany, G-Dragon and Taeyang of Big Bang, Seo Taiji, IU, Sistar, WINNER, Epik High, Ailee, Girl's Day, and more.
