Prosecution Reportedly Seeking 30-Month Sentence For Ladies' Code Manager

The prosecutor from South Korea's Suwon district is calling for a two-and-a-half year sentence for the 27-year-old manager of Ladies' Code, known by fans as Manager Park, according to a report on Tuesday from the publication eNEWS.

Park's driving on Sept. 3, allegedly caused the motor vehicle accident that killed two of the members of the group. 

Although, the accident was initially speculated to have been attributed to conditions caused by rain, driver negect was determined to be the primary cause, according to published reports.

It has been reported that Manager Park was allegedly traveling at a speed of more than 80 miles per hour in a zone that had been reduced to 55 mile per hour because of slick road conditions.

The accident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m., as the group was traveling home from promotional activities. EunB was declared dead upon the arrival of emergency services, while RiSe died in the hospital on Sept. 7.

The surviving members of the group, Sojung, Ashley and Zuny, all sustained injuries during the accident. Sojung obtained facial injuries which resulted in prolonged hospitalization and rehabilitation, while Ashley and Zuny had minor injuries.

Park was arrested on Nov. 12 with the help of Korea's National Institute of Scientific Investigation. His trial is scheduled for Jan. 15.
