Acting Agency KeyEast Denies That They Met With MBLAQ's Lee Joon

On December 9, it was initially reported that Lee Joon would be concluding his activities with MBLAQ to sign a contract with top-acting agency, KeyEast. KeyEast, which is the home to top actors like Kim Soo Hyun, has denied this claim.

KeyEast issued a statement to Korean media outlet Newsen, where they categorically denied meeting with Lee Joon. According to the Newsen report, a representative from KeyEast stated, “It′s a false report. We have no idea where this rumor came from.”

Speculation regarding Lee Joon's management have increased after rumors regarding a MBLAQ breakup began to spread in October 2014. In addition to Lee Joon, rumors began to spread that Thunder would also be departing from the group. Thunder (Park Sang Hyun) is the brother of 2NE1's Sandara Park.

J.Tune Camp, the agency representing MBLAQ, has stated that these were rumors and that Lee Joon, as well as Thunder continued to be in negotiation with the company.

In the meantime, Lee Joon continues to star in the MBC hit Wednesday-Thursday fantasy drama, “Mr. Baek.” Lee Joon has pursued numerous rigourous acting roles including Ryu Tae Oh in the 2014 tvN crime drama “Gap Dong” and Oh Young in the sexually charged 2013 film “Rough Play.”
