A new trailer was released for the Korean film The Cat Funeral, which stars Super Junior's Kangin and actress Park Se Young.

The film is about two ex-lovers who reunite to mourn and commemorate their cat. Kangin plays Dong Hoon, a soft-spoken indie musician who raises the cat he adopted with his now ex-girlfriend. After the cat, named Gooreumi, dies unexpectedly, he contacts his ex-lover to inform her of the sad passing. The two go on a one night and two day trip together as a final goodbye to their pet.

The film is based on the popular webtoon comic of the same name by Writer Hong.

In the newly released trailer, the film's protagonists share a first kiss, have a walk on the beach, and cuddle in bed.

The Cat Funeral has garnered a lot of attention from the Super Junior ELF fandom. The project will be Kangin's big screen comeback after a 5 year acting hiatus. His last movie was Hello, Schoolgirl in 2008, which starred fellow SM Entertainment artist Choi Sooyoung from Girls' Generation.

The Cat Funeral will premiere in theaters across Korea in January 2015. Till then, check out the trailer below!
