2NE1 To Perform In Seoul Broadcasting System's 'Gayo Daejeon' End-Of-The-Year Music Program Without Park Bom

Girl group 2NE1 has revealed that they will be attending the SBS Gayo Daejun on December 21 with the exception of member Bom.

Currently, there are no confirmation as to whether the remaining three members will perform at the event.

2NE1, who had made a comeback earlier this year and swept charts, was currently on a hiatus after Bom’s amphetamines incident.

Aside from Korea, 2NE1’s popularity continues to soar overseas. YG stated that 2NE1 has many contracts and promotions overseas lined up for the group and that they are currently also meeting fans around the world through their ALL OR NOTHING world tour.

However, news on their comeback in Korea is still not clear. 2NE1’s leader CL will be making her debut in the U.S. next year and other members are busy with their individual schedules so its hard to tell when they will be making a comeback as a group.

On the other hand, after Bom withdrew from the SBS reality show, “Roommate,” she stated, “I apologize for everything that has happened through this incident. I don’t think I will be able to film for the show anymore.”

Bom had tried to begin in 82 pills of amphetamines to Korea from the U.S. in 2010 but was caught by customs. Although this drug is accepted in most countries, Korea banned the drug due to the harm it has to the body when the drug is abused.

The prosecutors ended up letting Bom go without punishment.
