Girl's Day Member Hyeri Says She Provides For Her Parents With Money Earned From Endorsements

After starring in the female edition of the variety show Real Men, Girl's Day's Hyeri has become one of the top fashion and endorsement models in Korea this year. She is at the forefront of various campaigns, has been on the cover of practically every magazine and receives constant "love calls" from shows that want to feature her comedic genius.

She's currently the face of athletic gear brand EXR Performance, Nongshim Neoguri ramen, and Hoolala Chicken, to name a few. She's endorsed various high end brands, from Giorgio Armani to Lolita Lempicka, in the pages of High Cut and The Star. If you turn on the television, she would likely be smiling at you while presenting a vibrant Hazzys bag or LG Pocket Photo. Her popularity is so great that her fan signing event for Hungry App had to be canceled due to overcrowding.

On the December 10 episode of MBC's Radio Star, MC Kim Gu Ra asked about her income after the rise in her popularity. He said, "I heard that Hyeri's earnings were 1 billion KRW ($900,000 USD) after Real Men. You filmed ramen, sportswear, applications, and other exclusive CFs."

Hyeri admitted to making about 200 million KRW ($180,000 USD) in three months. She used the large sum to buy her parents a house. She explained, "I got property and prepared a house for my parents in Songpa. They used to live in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, but moved to Seoul for my education, so they had to rent a smaller house. My family lived in that small house. I diligently saved up money, got a loan, and bought it. The house expanded to more than twice its original size."

It appears that Hyeri isn't just a great performer, but a very diligent daughter as well!

Girl's Day recently won the Best Dance Performance award at the 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
