Japan TV has just now joined the global 'Psy syndrome'.

Today on Nihon TV, a TV special about Psy was aired. The special showed Psy's global popularity and featured his music video, "Gangnam Style."

They also mentioned that he had received over 300 million views on Youtube and ranked number 1 on the U.K charts. 

Japan had been limiting their news on K-Pop after the recent 'Dokdo crisis', but because of Psy's undying fame, even Japan could not look away from this.

Internet users commented, "This is how powerful Psy's fame is" and "I guess they tried to hold it out as long as they could but gave in."

Psy has recently become a global sensation with his song, "Gangnam Style." He has ranked number 1 on iTunes in 30 countries and has ranked number 2 on the U.S. Billboard Main Single Chart 'HOT 100'.

He has appeared on many shows such as the "Ellen Show" and "SNL" and featured on news programs such as NBC and CNN.

His music video has been the most viewed on Youtube as well with over 350 million views.

He has also recently signed a contract with Justin Bieber's agency and plans to release his first U.S. single sometime in November.
