EXO's Success In China Continues Without Kris & Luhan As Group Nabs Two Miguhui Awards

On December 13, SM Entertainment's EXO participated in the Miguhui Awards. The Miguhui Awards were a Chinese mobile music award ceremony.

The K-Pop group received two major awards at the ceremony including Best Performance and the Asia Most Popular Group award for their 2014 album “Overdose.”

These latest awards come on the heels of their huge wins at the 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards. These achievements are also significant because they come on the heels of the departure of two key members (Kris, Luhan) from the Chinese language subgroup, EXO-M.

In addition to receiving awards, EXO also performed during the Miguhui Awards ceremony.

EXO will have another significant activity in China, when they perform during the end of the year program for Hunan Broadcasting System on December 31. The event is billed as the largest Chinese end of the year celebration and it is also the most watched.

Fans of EXO (EXO-L) can also rejoice because the group is preparing for their holiday comeback release, “December, 2014.”

Things appeared to be bleak for EXO during their “Overdose” promotions. However, their year seems to be ending on a high note.
