Running Man Brothers Kim Jong Kook & HaHa Excite Dallas Fans During Fan Meet And Press Conference

Spartakook and Haroro...race start! Running Man's Kim Jong Kook and Haha made their way to Dallas, Texas on Sunday, December 14, 2014 to engage and entertain a welcoming--and very diverse--audience. The concert's first stop in the United States was in California on July 12. They also made their way to New York before the final stop in Dallas.

Lucky VIP ticket holders had the opportunity to sit with press for an exclusive Q & A session. Kim Jong Kook impressed fans with his English skills--most of which he taught himself!--while Haha used humor to connect when verbal communication was not an option. They even took a moment to call Grasshopper, Yoo Jae Suk, and have him share greetings from the Land of the Morning Calm with fans.

Here are the highlights!

Q: This is the second U.S. tour for the two of you. What was your most memorable moment from the first part of the tour?

Kim Jong Kook (KJK): Meeting all the fans has been good. Just spending the time with the fans in America is the best part. In Korea, people come to shows to listen to the music. In America, the people want to dance and sing along and wave. It's very different but very good!

Haha: I wonder how so many people watch us [on Running Man]? It makes me happy to see everyone have fun.

Q: We know that Haha is married but what about you, Kim Jong Kook? Do you have a girlfriend right now?

KJK: No, I don't have a girlfriend right now, I am single, but I have all of you as my girlfriend! (Laughs)

Haha: Why are you like this? (Laughs)

Q: What do you think of China's version of Running Man, "Hurry Up, Brother"?

KJK: We think it's a good thing for Asian people, for Koreans and for entertainment. I did an episode with them and learned a few words in Chinese. I have to practice more. (Laughs)

Q: What inspired you two to create this U.S. concert?

KJK: Haha and I wanted to come to America. I come [to the country] a lot. We are good friends and wanted to enjoy this together. We wanted to be able to meet the fans and try new things here.

Q: What message would you like to share with your fans for the New Year?

KJK: We want to be closer to American people. We want to let them know more about Korean culture, the music, and...we want them to know a lot of things about Korea!

Haha: Me too. It's a miracle that [American interest] is happening and I'm very happy to be doing what we're doing.
