Watch New ‘Final Fantasy Type-0 HD' Trailer Featuring Propaganda Reports And Character Introductions [VIDEO]

All the hype about "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" may be a disguise for those excited for the inclusion of the "Final Fantasy XV" demo included, but that hasn't stopped promotions one bit.

An all new trailer for "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" was released today in the interesting format being a pretend propaganda special report from Orience News. In addition to the humorous format, there's also some exciting character introductions in spectacular high definition for fans of the franchise to gush over.

Back in September "Final Fantasy Type-0" game director Hajime Tabata talked about the reason why the HD remake of the popular game would be for consoles as opposed to the updated platform of the Playstation Portable, the PS vita.

"The biggest reason is that we felt that our fans would be able to enjoy a deeper and prolonged experience with the game if it were on a larger medium," explained Tabata. "Not only are we making the title HD, but we are also working on improving the replay value of the game in order to reach out to a wider and newer audience."

Most fans seem to agree with the move to a console platform for "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" as displayed by the following comments in Video Games 24/7's coverage of the new trailer.

"I can't express how excited I am to play this, as I've heard so many good things about this game. This is the game that is making me take the plunge and get a PS4," commented Charles Lupula.

"I am really interested in this game, I haven't played the game on PSP, but have heard good things about it. I cannot wait," exclaimed ManuOtaku.

For fans who may have forgotten (or did not get a chance to play the game originally), here's the official synopsis per the official "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" website:

"In an act of unprovoked aggression, the Militesi Empire invaded the Dominion of Rubrum. Imperial dreadnoughts swarmed the skies, assailing the unsuspecting countryside under the banner of the White Tiger.

From amidst the flames of the besieged dominion, the Vermilion Bird rose in defiance, her crystal granting magic and mighty eidolons that her disciples might cast out the technologically advanced aggressors. Thrust into the tumult of war, the fate of the world and its four crystals now rests on the shoulders of fourteen brave, young warriors."

Fans can check out the new trailer for "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" below. The game is due out in the U.S. on March 17, 2015. It will hit shelves in Europe on March 20, 2015.
