Super Junior’s New Single ‘Mamacita’ Tops Japan’s Oricon Daily Chart

Group Super Junior topped Japan’s Oricon single daily chart on the first day of their new single, Mamacita-Ayaya, was released.

On December 18, Japan’s Oricon chart revealed that Super Junior’s new single that was released on December 17 had come in at number 1 on the single daily chart with 35,624 album sales on the first day.

“Mamacita” was first released in Korea back in September and had topped various music charts for 2 weeks in a row.

They also topped charts in Taiwan, Hong Kong and other places as well. With this album release in Japan, they were able to prove their popularity there as well.

On the same chart, idol group U-KISS was seen at number 2 with their new single, Sweetie.
