Girl group EXID currently becoming popular through their new song "Up & Down" said, "We thought it would be big just for a short time but we're so thankful."

In a recent interview with a media outlet, EXID's member Hani said, "My friends told me that we appear on a lot of SNS accounts these days. They screen captured it and showed it to me and I was surprised. We thought even the big hit would die down quickly, but we're so thankful."

They continued, "And I didn't think we would even appear on music charts. We didn't know we would be able to go on entertainment shows either," not being able to believe their popularity.

EXID had released "Up & Down" on August 27, but it did not become popular until 3 months later. They first entered the music charts and then was asked to appear on music shows again with the song.

It has now been 3 years since EXID debuted. Members said, "A lot of people think we're a new group. But now that we're a bit more known to the public, I think what we do from now on is really important. We're a bit scared but so thankful."
