IU sharing her love for the Korean language is gaining much attention.

On October 9, IU posted on her twitter, "I'm not good at English because I like Korean so much. Korean is the best!" 

October 9 is 'Hangeul Day' and many praised her for her respect and pride for their country.

Internet users commented, "I'm just like you IU" and "It's so nice to see her love towards her own language."
