Hip-hop group M.I.B’s Kangnam will be making his first solo comeback since their debut.

Media officials revealed that Kangnam is currently preparing for his solo single and is aiming to release it on Dec. 26.

Kangnam released his solo song in the group’s single, "Say My Name," in 2011, making this his first comeback as a solo artist in three years.

This is the first time he is making a comeback as a solo artist. Before, he had promoted and worked with the other members of M.I.B.

Kangnam has also become a new rising star in the entertainment industry for his unique character. His bright personality gained much attention amongst viewers and fans and is what eventually led to his solo release.

His new solo release will also help with his growing popularity in the K-Entertainment field.

Kangnam’s popularity soared after joining MBC’s variety show, “I Live Alone.” His honesty and kindness was a fresh concept that the show had not seen before, making him an instant hit.

Kangnam has since then been appearing on several other variety shows as well as commercials and has been making his name known.

He has also been chosen to be a fixed member for the new KBS2 program, “Invisible Man,” which will air starting next year.
